Within the ‘100% electrification by 2030’ program, the CIZO programme plans to reach three million more households, which currently do not have any access to the country’s electricity grid. Togo wants to achieve 50%, 75% and 100% electrification by 2020, 2025 and 2030 respectively. By 2030, the government hopes to extend electricity to the entire population of 7.5 million.

Rural Spark and the ministry of Energy set out to provide over half a million solar solutions to Togolese villagers. In order to do so, a cooperation between the Government and Rural Spark is being set up.

Let’s electrify Togo.
