First Valorisation Meeting DISGIE

New Delhi, January 28th - Together with TU/e, TERI and PRE, Rural Spark has launched the project "Developing & Implementing Smart Grids in India" (DIGSI), funded by the Dutch government through MVI. The aim of the project is to develop and implement the ideal smart grid. However, successful smart grid development is not simply a matter of getting the technology right: social embedding, ethical acceptability and institutional support are at least as important. This project therefore sets out to answer the question:
How can smart grids be successfully developed and implemented in rural India?

On January 28th, 2016, the first valorisation meeting was held in New Delhi. Here all parties shared their insights and shaped the project to the valorisation panel, providing feedback.
